However glory it may seems,i just want to drink coffee quilt like to call my 2017 a year of chaos. But here’s the thing you should learn from chaotic situations: you could never solve the problem by doing nothing. I moved, wandered and got lost. I fortunately got on some new adventures and met a lot of interesting people. Short highlight:June – Frankfurter Buchmesse Study Tour: first time in Europe. An intense week learning about children’s book, visiting amazing publishers and bookstores, and getting to know the kindest editors from all over South East Asia.
September – YSEALI Fall Academic Fellowships i just want to drink coffee quilt: an unforgetable journey in the USA. Living in UMass, learning with Civic Initiative, exploring Boston, New York, DC was like a dream that I had never dared to dream of.No, it’s not all. I left the project I’d led the last 3 years, quit my job, failed lots of application and now struggle with depression. I don’t know what to do next and how to achieve my ambitious dream. Eventually, in the very last hours of New Year’s Eve, I found myself leaving hundreds of deadlines that needed to be done to one side, watching Mamma Mia and starting to knit a red scarf, stitch by stitch, row by row. Be calm and overcome the fear, they all will be fine.
